My first sunflower has popped open. There are several more heads on it to open yet, too.
These photos were taken with my phone, i'm hoping to get some better shots with my camera in the week.
Last shot taken to prove the sunflower in taller than me - and i was standing on a mound of earth!
My Mum gave me some of her sweet peas (and had the forethought to bring me a little vase, too - i own nothing like that.) They smell so good.
I thanked her, and also suggested she grow some kind of actual pea; you still get the pretty flowers, but you also get something edible!
At the "Frog Manor" cafe.
Actually remembered to buy vegan ice cream to go with the vegan fruit pie. Delicious.
One day soon i will have to post a non food photo. Maybe.
Emailing this in from my phone. First time. Fingers crossed.

Made from geeseberries and raspberries from the allotment. NOM.
It was going to be a crumble, but BeardyMan found some cheap vegan shortcrust pastry at the shop, and so pie was made.
Cleaned and ready to chop. We boiled them in the end; i cover potates in oil, herbs and pepper when i roast them, but i wanted to just taste the potatoes.
And there with them are two of the tinest cauliflowers i have ever seen. We had to pick them while they were small and before they got eaten! Psh.
It was all tasty :)
That is the question.
We have potatoes! These are just the few we dug up this morning; we're going back with sacks tomorrow! Considering we were simply hoping for a potato each i think we did bloody well.
Turns out potatoes are pretty easy to grow!
We also picked some gooseberries (geeseberries?) and raspberries. Crumble tomorrow after Sunday lunch! :)
Anyone know what this could be? It looks like it's going to bloom into a huge beautiful flower, but i don't want them all over my allotment!!
