Micah Richards goal had to be the highlight of the evening. After getting an early goal the game was in a lull - Richards suddenly stormed down the field, as if to say what are you all messing about at, passed to Benjami, who hit the post and Richards was there to blast it in - just brilliant entertainment.
Tevez then went on to make a hat trick, and the delighted City fans took great pleasure in chanting Fergie,Fergie, sign him up! :)
Meg is definitely not amused!

a good few inches and still snowing lightly - think this is as snowy a time as we have ever had here
yesterday all the snow had gone from the trees etc

next door neighbour got stuck last night near Stump Cross caverns - 2 cars slewed across the road and when he braked there was ice under the snow, so he had to stop by driving into the snow piled up by the plough at the side of the road
