I'm here because it's a place where I want to be.
What do I do with my life - still pondering that, keep exploring the possibilities I suppose...
I do have another more personal moblog Vivupclose
Take a look at my daughter Beth's website...

There are days when I just feel privileged to live where I do :)
Love the way the lower branches on the tree show how high the river has been.

Wed the ground was covered in snow - Thursday the sun shone in a blue sky with fluffy clouds.
Today we are back to Yorkshire grey.
Can you see all the daffs in our neighbours garden?
There's snow on the hills.

Rollo Markee and the Tailshakers set the pace, then Earl Jackson took over backed by the Tailshakers then Rollo (brilliant mouth harpist) came back on and the base guitarist, who had been part of the first act and they really enjoyed themselves and so did we and yes Swamprose I did dance :)

Hebden, Halton Gill, Langcliffe, 23.5 miles
back via Arncliffe, Hebden 20.1miles
if anyone wants to stick it in google and look at the route.
In the morning, from turning off to Arncliffe all the way to Stainforth about 30 mins driving time - I saw 1 car, 1 tractor and one van on the road. It was glorious, but I didn't stop as I was running a bit late, so I stopped for a few going over Malham Moor on the way back. First shows some limestone pavement as well as amazing views NW and sure someone can name that peak - though peak and flat top don't seem to go together. The last view is dropping down towards Arncliffe.
