I'm here because it's a place where I want to be.

What do I do with my life - still pondering that, keep exploring the possibilities I suppose...

I do have another more personal moblog Vivupclose

Old Montreal Sept 6th

We arrived in Montreal by train on Wed's. We had dinner with Margaret and John then were taken to the studio where we slept on a double tier blow up mattress, which was very comfortable. On Thurs morning we walked along the side of the Lachine Canal into Old Montreal.

Having arrived Fri 31st Aug we left them on Wed 5th Sept - having caught upon about 10 years and met all the family and some friends. Time now for the train to Montreal. Suprised to see some Amish people on the platform at Belleville.

Camping has changed since my day

All mod cons on the vehicles and someone will have brought just what you need - in this case Mandy borrowed this corn cooker. Everyone shares, some very tasty food was proffered from neighbouring campers. A real community affair. A noticeable quality of Canadian life. Liz sends meals to a nearly blind neighbour down the road.

Liz and grandchildren and Liz's daughter Mandy. Was so really good to see them altogether.

Allison and Ryan (camping in the Sandbanks Park)

Ryan was exhausted after a busy afternoon running up and down sandunes on the beach.
Allison got the shower treatment from Dad.
Both were soon up and active again.
