Pre race breakfast at The Clarendon

We thought Hebden ought to be gathered together to watch their 'son' get his Olympic gold - but Alan didn't get to talk to Rachel until last night and phone calls were made between 8 and 9 this morning - so a gathering of 30 plus wasn't bad considering! Lovely bacon butties, tea and coffee provided free by Rach. Though a pot was passed round at the end and raised nearly £80 for Hebden Hedgehogs (cricket team)

Who would have thought it the boy next door is going for gold - finals of Men's 4 rowing Sat am 10.30 (BBC will cover)
As winners of the semi's they stand a great chance. We will be watching Andrew - well done.
