Today the Tour of Britain cycle race passed in front of our house at about 12.30. Needless to say getting a decent photo was all but impossible as they were gone in a flash but I'm quite pleased with these taken with my oldest camera... : - )
I had the little Boy's daddy's permission to take and use the top photo which I might submit to the local paper. I don't really think I've got a chance of getting it published. When the Olympic cycle race was here in July the standard of reader's photos was incredibly high.
I don't think of September as Autumn as we so often get wonderful Indian Summer days in September. But today there was definitely a feel of Autumn about.

How whimsical am I this morning? But really these Harebells belong in a Fairy glade much more than their spring time cousins the bluebells..
I found these on Box Hill...

We changed cars recently and couldn't get our lovely Darwin fish off the old car without making a mess. BS said he'd like a flying spaghetti monster this time so here he is... Bless his noodly appendages!
