*No hearts of gold
No nerves of steel
No blame for what we can and cannot feel*
I met him on the 1st May 1996..
We tried a new footpath on Friday which passed under the railway via this tunnel..
I was going to call this picture tunnel vision but have I ever got this song in my head!
*Beneath the trees where nobody sees, They'll hide and seek as long as they please
'Cause that's the way the Teddy Bears have their picnic*
This is not the wood where my Mother's ashes are scattered. This is one of the very many bluebell woods we have within a few minutes walk of our home here on the North Downs.
They're not at their full glory yet.. About another week to go I should think but I wanted to be first with the bluebells : )
I have a teenage daughter : )
*Thou art the Great Cat, the avenger of the Gods, and the judge of words, and the president of the sovereign chiefs and the governor of the holy Circle; thou art indeed...the Great Cat.*
Inscription on the Royal Tombs at Thebes

John Gregory Brown, Decorations in a Ruined Cemetery, 1994
