We bought this from a trestle table by the side of the road. BS loves
rhubarb and drooled....
Old Mother Twiglet's kitchen tip: If your sharp knives are shite like
mine, prepare rhubarb with kitchen scissors. Works on meat as well.....
...through the hard times and the good.
I have to celebrate you baby
I have to praise you like I should.
Twelve years today since I met him. We made our dreams come
true......The big ones and the little ones....
The red one is of course a tulip and there are loads of them and wall
flowers too. I really don't know what the top one is though. They look
as if they are made of paper but that doesn't come across in the photo.
Any suggestions most welcome.
I never expected to be a Mummy, DD was a late in life surprise, very
much unplanned. Because of that I didn't think too hard about the
future and took every miraculous day as it came. Now she's 10 I can
hardly believe it! Happy Birthday my darling girl! You surprise me
every day. xxxxx
Poor DD will probably remember this as the worst birthday and the worst
school holiday ever. We are moving house this week so no party, no
special treat, no cake, no nuffink! Fortunately she is being very good
and grown up about it and we will certainly make it up to her when we
get settled in. We have got her a few very nice presents though and she
has had zillions of cards.
