Typical; all the natural beauty of Alaska, and I spend my time taking photos of tunnels.

This is the Anton Anderson Memorial tunnel, a 4 km stretch combined for rail and highway. It's only a single lane so you can only gain access in half hour chunks (with more delays if the train's running through it).

Parting Denali photos

On the last day, the perpetual cloud hanging over Denali mountain lifted and we got to see the summit of North America's highest peak. Apparently it's almost always hidden under its own weather system and rarely peeks it's head out.
