I was so impressed by Berlin Hauptbahnhof I'd have believed it if you'd told me there was a Platform 13 and three quarters. Shot two shows the view down from the platform. There was much excitement in the Welsh contingent about the double decker regional trains. I was too busy being dizzied by the multi storey station. Mind you the last station I was overawed by is a lesson in why you should always suspect architecture that makes you feel small. Milan's main station- monumental like an emperor's mausoleum, full of pigeon shit, built for Mussolini.
