Edit: Not cutlery manufacturers but toolmakers. And still going apparently

Founded in 1921 before the juxtaposition of work and freedom developed any sinister connotations.

(Newcastle) Gateshead revisited

Went out to take a bit of a photographic love letter to a beautiful city and its many bridges. Ended up photographing looming shadows. That's pretty much how I feel today. What use is our fine culture if the electorate is still persuaded by fascists? Sorry Newcastle, not your fault - though I note that there's a Mosley Street and wonder about a connection.
