Knowledge pursues me but I am faster.......

If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, then baffle them with bullshit.......

.......One day, we will look back on this, laugh nervously, and change the subject…

Only in our dreams are we free. The rest of the time we need wages.

No. 38 Say just what you see ....

(viewed 1148 times)
I thought I'd do a tribute
To a man that I admire,
Illustrator, Simon Drew,
Of whom I never tire.

So if you have a minute,
Or two or maybe three,
Check out my new picture
And say just what you see ....

Filbert Fox and Baggie Boy
Are getting in some training
They hope to cycle the Leeds Canal
Unless of course it's raining ....

There's just one thing they need to do
(and that's a real safe bet)
And that's to cycle on the path
(It'll save them getting wet).

Joking aside, just want to wish them good luck ....... :)

Edit .... you can Sponsor FF and BB ..... just visit Filbert Fox's site and follow the link on the sidebar.... (I'll try and sort out a clicky) ...

No. 35 Some Mobloggers like to dance and drink .....

Some bloggers like to dance and drink
And listen to a band.
Well, here's your chance to do all three
And give good 'ELF' a hand.

At the venue's basement bar
On Friday the twenty third
There'll be a gig for Alex
(in case you haven't heard).

But if, like me, you are too old,
And can not take the 'din',
Then stay at home and give on line,
And have a glass of gin ..

ELF Presents
South of the River Electric
23 February 2007
£5.00 per ticket.
The Venue New Cross-Basement Bar
Clifton Rise, SE London

Gig in Memory of Alex Saville

The Elimination of Leukaemia Fund are having a fundraising gig in memory of Alex. Good if you could make it.

Cartoon: L to R : (at the back) Mouseninja, Kelly (Mysocalledmoblog) and SaharaSB. Nige and Sprocket (for comic effect) at the front .... and, well I'll let you guess who the other figure is ....

No. 34 Sprocket had a bright idea ....

Sprocket had a bright idea,
(or so it seemed to me)
Naked men on Moblog!
And all for charity.

So let us raise our glasses
(and a stylish eyebrow too)
And thank our lovely Sprocket
For such an inspiring view!

But please always remember
What lies behind it all
The fight against cancer
(And a calendar for your wall )

Just an idea for the 2008 Limesuckers calendar ......

Jugs ... for Steve and SFG ...

Sorry could not resist .... ;-)

Edited title ... felt it was just a bit too childish .....

No. 33 Ladies with big jugs ......

(viewed 9493 times)
Paintist and young SLG
Thought that it would be fun
If we all photo blogged our jugs
For the delight of everyone.

Size and shape don't matter,
And nor do age or hue,
Just get them out and show them,
We'd really like you to.

Let there be no confusion,
I must just make it clear
Our jugs are all ceramic
(No nasty fleshpots here!)

Have been having fun showing a friend the delights of photoshop.

I actually have a lovely cat cartoon jug that Jenny (Alex's mum) gave me for my birthday, I will blog it when I get my camera back.
