This santa likes to drive,
He also likes to jest,
He always makes me laugh,
He really is the best .....
This santa likes to ride,
He also likes to draw,
A designer cowboy,
Yule know this one for sure .....
This santa loves to move,
She's a red robed queen of dance,
She'll be out there twirling,
If you give her half a chance.
Her moves are rich and smooth,
Like brandy from a barrel,
Who the Dickens am I kidding,
It's our very own Christmas ________
Hark the happy Archers sing,
News of immense joy they bring ...
Peace on earth and mercy mild
This fine couple are 'with child' .....
Not really a 'Secret Santa' ...... just my way of saying a big 'Congratulations' to a lovely Moblog couple :) .....
.....and the reason they are in a chimney? .... well, it's because they are a well sooted couple ....;)
This Santa Claus gets her kicks
Indulging the wildlife,
She's a really lovely lady
Who has overcome much strife ...
Her home is an open house
To all ceatures great and small,
She's a real St Francis,
An example to us all .....
This Santa Claus will cause a buzz
When he's out on the town.
Smiles and laughter follow him,
You'll never see a frown ...
His many little woolly friends
Are there with their own greetings,
No 'Baa Humbug' here ... they're
Wishing you 'Season's Bleatings' ....
Santa Claus is back in green,
(as he was in days gone by)
Coca Cola turned him red,
(I heard that on Q.I.)
The title for this pic,
(it'll make you groan, I fear)
With wellies and waterproofs
It's 'Santa and his Raingear' ....
...... in the next few weeks leading up to Christmas I have decided to do a Moblog version of Secret Santa .... I'll be dressing various Mobloggers up in Santa suits ... all you have to do is guess the Moblogger ..... I have started with an easy one ...... they will get increasingly difficult as the weeks progress ....
A parcel came this morning
It was long and thin and hard,
I really was excited,
Even though there was no card ...
I tore off all the paper,
And there there was revealed,
A metre of Jaffa cakes,
Oh how I laughed and squealed ...
Thank you so much Dhamaka, and yes, I love my alternative greeting :D
