you gave me morals
you showed me what a loving marriage should be like
you picked me up when I fell
you pulled me down when I got too big for my boots
you taught me what good music really is
you told me to do things my way, regardless of how many people I pissed
off along the way
you forgave me for all the stupid things I've done
you taught me that there is always a better way than the violent way
you supported my choices, even when you thought they where wrong
you shouted at me a lot, I hope I listened
you would have been 1st on my "phone a friend" list
you told me to question the truth
you taught me how not to hang a pine curtain rail
you proved that a man of few words holds no less sway
you loved me, and I knew it
you adored the fact that I refused to conform, even though you'd never
tell me that
you could be blindfolded in a dark room, and still know which way was north
you helped raise an intelligent, creative and loving family
you had the best taste in Hi-Fi equipment...ever
you'd struggle to send an email, but you still read my moblog
you shaped a town, and it will never forget
you were a dad, and a good one.
I miss you.

Wifey bought me flowers...awww :)
Its asparagus season in the UK (and it only lasts about 6 weeks here) so we're making the most of it....I love asparagus like a fat kid loves cake.
