I went to a "memorial service" today, it was unpleasant, I went because I
wanted to be there for my mum, and my brothers.It's been a very long time since I've been in a proper church during a proper mass
(well it wasn't a proper mass, but a mass of sorts)
Apart from being a rather surreal experience (thats another story), it made 2 things occur to me.
1)How much I really really miss my Dad.
2)He really wouldn't have wanted me to be taking part in a religious
ceremony, of any sorts.
So I didn't light a candle for him, I opened a beer for him instead (I
didn't have any good Rioja in the house)

shows off his "how a baby is made" pictures.....seriously.
= one tired but happy designated driver....thanks to everyone for a very
lovely afternoon and evening, was great to see/meet you all, the exhibition
is fantastic and I barely noticed that I was sober :)
Special thanks to DJ Distinctly with his iPods of steel, for ensuring that the "drive home entertainment" was top notch.
