The Broome Mangoe Festival kicks off this weekend. I have only been eating mangoes for the past week, and I think I have already had enough to last me until next season:)
There is a coronial inquest into more than 20 Aboriginal deaths at the Broome Courthouse. These crosses represent the amount of deaths related to drug and alcohol abuse in the Kimberley in the last 10 years. Considering the population of Kimberley, its time to get real.

Turtles come to lay their eggs on the big tide cycles so they can swim over these rocks at high tide. Unfortunately there were no tracks to indicate that they did so this fortnight :(
