Sure enough, after the poppies opened so the wind and rain came. A branch was blown off our cedar tree. Worrying!
You can predict the wind and rain by our poppies. Once in full glorious flower and we have a few days of wind and rain. Please notice the lovely poppy support - the poppies like to grow outside it!
Snail wants to come in out of the rain.

The stairs and garden still there but house has gone.
The scarecrows got fed up with life in the field and have moved to the side of the road. I'm not scared.

I went to the V&A; museum with a friend to meet Clare and have a look at the new jewellery gallery, which is stunning. We had lunch in the new garden which is a huge improvement on the previous dark and gloomy one.
This tree is beside the Ongar Road in Brentwood. One of the council gardeners must have spliced two flowering cherries together I think. The result is a magic tree.
