the 16th countryside. I'm not sure but acording to local gossip, he sold the
idea to governents who sold it to the people. made himself a fortune over
time repeating the concept in cities all over the world, apparently ?-)

Not sure who this is yet, but the stick person has a camera wrapped around
their neck, and the "board" has been damaged , possible --> adbusters
the bottom pic is by an artist called st8ment and I think belongs in this set, the old lady burying a photographer and the stencil of two chinese photographers are one of the same ,there is an underlying feeling of intrusion in croftville, the place is being turned into a circus (lamentable tradegy, st james fair) ps: thanks to st8ment for letting me use their pasteup
