This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. Contact me for the development version of my photo portfolio, for a selection of saleable images or visit my dance photography blog or my website for cuttings. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

"Give, give, give -- what is the point of having experience, knowledge or talent if I don't give it away? Of having stories if I don't tell them to others? Of having wealth if I don't share it? I don't intend to be cremated with any of it! It is in giving that I connect with others, with the world and with the divine."

"The grand show is enternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapour is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls."

"The bicycle is the most civilised conveyance known to man. Other forms of transport grow daily more nightmarish. Only the bicycle remains pure in heart."

Only 1.5 cycles left (going through the worst part of the second now) and just one more chemo. Fingers hurt, but not as badly as in the last cycle, but I'm feeling ill and desperately tired.

Help kids affected by cancer by sponsoring my passage through chemo at

4 weeks 6 days to the end of the regime and 16 weeks 6 days till I'm recovered

fractured cycle

(viewed 1676 times)
Only 2 cycles left and just one more chemo. I've been working like crazy to get enough work done because today or tomorrow my fingernails and toenails will start hurting like crazy (the feeling you get when your finger is slammed in the door, but for more than a week).

I think I have today left. If I'm lucky I'll have tomorrow too.

variations on a theme

Less than a week to go to my last-but-one chemo. My sense of taste is all over the place and I seem to be developing temperatures from all the variations of cold and cough virus known to man, but so far... touch wood... I've not had to go back to hospital.

your opinions please

For an osteopath's surgery.

The brief was 'something that has bright and simple shapes for young children'. I've tried to cater for young and old in some of these.. This is already late so they need to be chosen ASAP

Look forward to seeing what you think
