A craft moment:
*Could we see when and where we are to meet again, we would be more tender when we bid our friends goodbye.*
Marie Louise De La Ramee
Oh what an imaginative title!
Happened upon this single flower whilst gaily tripping through the woods
with my young friend last week. Snapped it in case it was a fine
example of a rare marshland orchid or some such other exotic species but
it could just as easily be a weed........
On the beach these two couldn't keep their hands off each other, it got
a lot worse than this. I dared my young friend to offer to join them but
alas, MYF was terrified they might say yes!
...I find the wonders of the internet count for nothing if you've got no
idea at all what a flower is called. Must ask Santa for a flower book.
This puts me in mind of an elaborate onion flower.

We had a patio sunflower seed growing competition. Mine looks like a
patch of chick weed, my young friend's is marginally better but this
effort is clear indication that Heather is a great big cheater and
nobbled our seeds. CHEATER!
I couldn't find one definite meaning for yellow roses in the language of
flowers which may or may not be a load of old b*ll*cks. However, among
the meanings listed were *friendship* and *freedom*. I have interpreted
this as *I want to do something unspeakably filthy to you...* My young
friend is so romantic!
