A craft moment:
*Can't
Remember
A
F**king
Thing....*
*Could we see when and where we are to meet again, we would be more tender when we bid our friends goodbye.*

My "team" were more difficult than usual this morning, whining and bickering and if I hear another word about the cleaner's migraine on Sunday I will scream like a girl. At lunchtime I put the headphones on and listened to music and looked through my photos from a better day than this. Got me remembering and dreaming and I looked up the words we used to love, the ones that end "I wondered if at this moment she had a dream that rhymed with mine.*
For Paul... Go!
*You are not the child of the people you call mother and father, but their fellow-adventurer on a bright journey to understand the things that are.*

You don't often hear of ghosts haunting the countryside do you? The occasional weeping woman on an accident spot on a road or a headless horseman or a black dog... If our souls do come back and repeat the most familiar actions from our lives, surely my shade will be there on the footpaths and byways and bridleways with the berries and wild flowers and leaves. I'll be the Autumn ghost, most visible in October, fading in November and gone in December.....

When I'm alone here moving from room to room I sometimes wonder if I've slipped in time, in to the time of a previous owner and that I'm the ghostly presence. The cold shadow in the corner of the room, that I am haunting them. : )

*But lovers always come
And lovers always go
And no one's really sure
Who's lettin' go today
Walking away...*
How do you measure a year?
*In daylights, in sunsets
in midnights, in cups of coffee
in inches, in miles
in laughter, in strife....*
And what a year it's been! Happy Birthday to me, Happy Halloween to you!
*Keep a green tree in your heart and perhaps a singing bird will come.*
