In France, we have the best Youth (really)

The newspaper title means:"After the holidays, we'll demonstrate again"
They are in High School (which is free for everyone here).
They are on "strike" in order to protect their teachers' jobs (which are guaranteed by the State, but hey...).
They have an honest faith (it makes me cry sometimes).
[Could someone explain to me what it means to be on "strike" when you are in High School ?]
BUT (there is always a but in my country) each year,
- they only strike the week BEFORE holidays,
- this year, they are particularly involved : they will strike again AFTER the 2 weeks of holidays.
- of course, they will not strike/demonstrate DURING the holidays. Too difficult.
Really the best youth in the world, the most politically engaged, the most courageous.
I did not say fuckin' lazy.
I love French people, especially the youngs and the olds.
Really lovely people. And sincere.
