... you think you hear something interesting, just like I did with the
band Enter Shikari (it never reached the continent, people from UK).
This song sounds good on CD:
yes that song.
I thought, "OK they try to sound like faith no more ( fusion of metal
and dance samples), with a singer who mimics Burton C.Bell style (Fear
Factory)", 10 years after.
Riffs are good, drums are simple but ok, the singer seems to be interesting (but the producer helped his voice a lot...).
They are young, they are told be "Post-Hardcore" (??? I never understood
music journalists: they are very creative in inventing lame names like
that, which mean nothing by the way...).
BUT you check them on stage and it is over. Ridiculous. Ciao. Bye bye.
They are definitely not the new FNM (Mike Patton level is NOT that easy to reach), even not the new FF.
Songs are easy to play, but seem very difficult for them once on stage.
Their live sound is awful, crap, shitty.
The singer is ridiculous in his "I don't know how to pose to be cool" in front of 15 year old spotty females...
and I am even not talking about his poor voice performance: my cat is more rock&roll; (Bloom meows "Master Master" when I play Metallica on my ESP, really impressive. But I remind you, she is from Norway, the land of Metal :) ).
I'll keep buying CD of real talents like Paul Gilbert, or even Disturbed who can make it happen on stage.
And I will delete these MP3 of sucky bands of posers...
