"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience

Skating away, skating away, skating away On the thin ice of the new day"

Mmm, Melon

(viewed 556 times)
The scene at the studio side feeder today: Two Wrongways, Thicket (rabbit), Grackles and a host of small birds all scaring and chasing each other. And melon eating, safely up the tree. Entertainment. :D

Needled

We were back at the vet hospital with Nash again, the first time was monday. Poor boy is very ill and no one knows what the trouble is at the moment. After a week on oral meds (which Nash did not like) there's been no change. So now I get to poke him with needles.

Arlo's still on oral meds, he had an overgrown tooth which caused an abscess. Arlo's doing very well now and fighting his meds tooth and nail.

Nash did get to do a bit of shopping with us after seeing his doc. He went to the hardware store, the petstore and the art store. The lady at the harware store wanted to see Nash and was cooing at him and giving nice pets. The boys are sleeping now, it's been a long day for all of us. I think I'm going to join them for a nap. I'll catch up with everyone tomorrow.

The pics: Nash's new meds, Nash on Rick's lap at the hospital, Windows at the hospital, Nash in his carrier at the hardware store, Nash's scrip and Arlo checking out the syringes.
