Personal Favourites from my moblog

"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience

Skating away, skating away, skating away On the thin ice of the new day"

Thunderstorm

So much for sleep...thunder sounding like bombs going off over the roof, lightning turning night to day, having to run and close the kitchen windows and wipe up all the puddles from the rain coming in sideways. The wind hit around 50mph. Yeesh. Okay, back to bed.

12 more hours of Spring cleaning today. Also planted Thai Lemon Basil, Queen of Siam Thai, Basil Genova "Perfume", Shasta Daisies, African Daisies and Creeping Daisies.

We're tired. Rick's Dad & friend show up sometime Monday afternoon. We'll try and catch up with everyone tomorrow night. We're off to collapse.
